What HIM Scale Builder stores and sends.

HIM Scale Builder is a browser app with Gumroad license activation for Full Access. This page explains how HIM Scale Builder handles browser storage, license activation, generated audio, and related service requests.

Browser storage

The app uses browser storage to remember local app state, including:

Completed tracks remain in this browser on this device and do not sync to another browser or device. You can delete individual tracks or clear the Completed Library in the app. Clearing site data can remove all local tracks and may require re-entering your Gumroad license key. Private or incognito browsing may not preserve local records.

Where supported, the app can ask the browser for persistent storage and show an approximate storage estimate. Browser support and permission vary. Persistent storage can reduce automatic eviction, but it does not guarantee permanent retention and does not prevent removal when you clear site data.

License activation

When you activate Full Access, the entered license information is sent to a same-origin Netlify Function. That server function contacts Gumroad to verify the purchase and returns a signed entitlement for this browser.

Gumroad and Netlify may process ordinary transaction, request, hosting, security, and log data as part of providing those services. This page does not replace their own policies.

Audio and practice data

HIM Scale Builder does not upload microphone audio from your singing. The app does not use pitch detection or recording input.

Generated MP3 capture is created in the browser from the app's own playback output. Complete Full Access tracks may be stored locally in IndexedDB so this browser can offer exact matching downloads and the Completed Library. Those MP3s are not uploaded by the app.

Analytics and advertising

The app currently does not include advertising trackers or analytics scripts.
